A CNBC report has stated that Time Warner which sponsored the half
time special has asked for its money back. The media conglomerate
paid up around $10 million and could be seeking a refund of at least
a part of the amount. The problem is that America Online decided
not to stream the performance over its Web site.
A Dow Jones report stated that AOL had planned to make the show
available to members and nonmembers for about two weeks. This move
that was expected to generate heavy traffic for the online company.
Around 25 million AOL members and visitors had been expected to
view the streaming video.
