LG India's MD to head
LGE South West Asia operations

MUMBAI: LG Electronics today announced that LGEIL managing director
K R Kim has been elevated to the position LGE South West Asia president.
Kim has been instrumental in building the brand to its current
position of strength and leadership in India.
In his new position, Kim will be responsible for overall
functioning of all the LG subsidiaries in South West Asia namely India,
Nepal, Bangladesh and Srilanka.
"My stint as the managing director of LG India operations
has been one of the most enriching and educative experience of my
career. The leadership position that LG has achieved in India would
never have been possible without the effort and dedication of the
greatly talented LG India team. I look forward to carrying my experience
further to the South West Asia market. I truly thank all my Indian
colleagues for the support extended to me during my tenure as MD."
Kim was quoted in a media report as saying.
