Touted as India's first indoor office corporate golf tournament,
the 'Teachers Achiever's Office Golf Championship is supported by
the flagship brand of wine and spirits company Allied Domecq- Teacher's
Highland Cream in association with 9 Yards.
Compered by the leading sports television commentator Charu Sharma,
the final round saw corporate leaders battle for the winners spot.
The winner was decided after completing a nine hole course.

The winners of the Teacher's Achievers Office Golf Championship
and the runners up qualify for the national finals, says a company
release.
Radio Mirchi head marketing Sameer Sainani was the winner of the
Most Dapper Office Golfer as he scored a hole in one on the fourth
green.
Allied Domecq Spirits and Wines (I)'s managing director Harish
Moolchandani, while congratulating the winners said, "Teacher's
Achiever's Office Golf Championship has reflected the enthusiasm
and sportsmanship that exists among the participating corporates
today. We shall be taking the tournament to other corporates in
cities like Pune, Chandigarh, Bangalore and Delhi and would be hosting
The Teacher's Achiever's Office Golf nationals by the end of this
year."
A total of 41 top corporate houses took part in this unique one-day
event that included organizations such as Columbia Tristar, HDFC
Bank, Shoppers Stop, iFlex and Star TV.
The rules of the game were simplified. Each of the participants
had to play nine holes and were given seven shots to play his/her
stroke. An individual score card was recorded and maintained by
a team of nine girls called the "Teacher's Office Golf Team".
