| “The team, to be headed by Partho and Seema,
would also comprise new recruitments. There would be internal reallocation
for the account, for which there is going to be a fairly large team,”
said Gupta. Contrary to the reports earlier, Gupta clarified that
the final contract for the IOCL has been signed recently and accordingly,
TME is finalising the entire team for the account.
For TME, the IOCL win follows recent account gains including Oracle
and Shipra Real Estate. “The year has started on a good note
for us as our Delhi office has won Oracle and Shipra Real Estate
accounts. The mandate in both the accounts include media planning
and buying,” said Gupta.
Considering the high churning rate and restructuring in the organisations,
especially among the media agencies, Gupta admitted that putting
team in place is not easy. “Its (churning) part of the industry.
But I would say in our case, it has been lesser than others,”
she clarified.
Apart from Ghosh, who joined TME six months back, other recruits
in the last year or so include media director Madan Mohapatra and
associate media director Mukund Setlur.
