Moms, which had won the bid from the Pakistan Cricket Board for
40 per cent of the ground rights for all the matches, has been successful
in selling all the sites. They achieved this despite the restriction
that the sites can be sold only to those brands, national or international,
available in Pakistan. This also has underlined the fact that when
it comes to cricket, there won't be any shortage of advertisements!
Some of the prominent brands that availed this opportunity provided
by Moms are: Hyundai, ESPN Star Sports, Strepsils, Saridon, Montex,
Maxell, Instaphone, Tetrapak, Adidas, Dollar East Exchange Company,
Metro Rice and National Aids Control Program.
Moms also organised a special prize in association with PCB, The
Hyundai Super Striker, which was awarded to Inzamam Ul Haq.
Now that the initial hurdles are passed, Moms is sure to gear up
for upcoming tournaments in the future.
