The new women's range will be primarily linen and styled keeping
in mind the demand for summer apparels. Pantaloon India deputy manager
marketting Pawan Sarda said, "The new linen range for women
is very stylised, hip and good for the summer. This range is going
to be fresh as per the demand." The designing of teenagers
and kids wear also have summer in mind and expects to do well.
For men, Pantaloon is launching the new John Miller collection
starting from Rs 495 price range. Says Sarda, "The last time
we did a big campaign for John Miller was in '93 - '94. Now, almost
after 10 years, we are coming up with a new campaign." Then
touted as the most recalled apparel brand, John Miller now attempts
to repeat history.
Percept H handles the creatives for the new Pantaloon apparel range.
The ads have already started making rounds. Pantaloon may advertise
in radio also. Says Sarda, "We are looking at advertising on
radio too, but nothing has been finalised as yet."
