Besides the opportunity to win an exciting trip to Singapore and
watch the show alongside their favourite stars, the six winners

While the nominations for the Samsung IIFA Awards 2004, based on
votes by the Indian film industry, were announced last week, fans
now get a unique opportunity to become part of the decision-making
process and cast their votes. The awards ceremony will be held on
22 May 2004, says a company release.
To participate in the 'Vote and Wish Upon a Star' contest, the
contestants have to log on to www.msn.co.in/iifa, cast their votes
for the various categories and answer a simple question - 'Where
will the Samsung IIFA Awards be held in Singapore?'.

In addition to the Singapore experience, fans can look forward
to receiving a host of gifts from Samsung. 20 lucky winners will
get to take home exciting goodies like audio systems, frost free
refrigerators, washing machines and microwave ovens, says the release.
While the naming sponsor of the Samsung IIFA Awards is Samsung
India Electronics Ltd, the presenting sponsor of the Singapore IIFA
Weekend is Singapore Tourism Board. With the television partner
being Sony Entertainment Television, the show will be air on Sony.
The associate sponsors for the event are Damas and Hindustan Times,
hospitality partner is Grand Hyatt, Singapore, co-sponsors are Citibank
and IIFA Glitterati D'damas and music channel partner is MTV Asia.
The media partners for the event are MSN India, Red FM and Bright
Advertising, the voting process auditors are PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
The event will be conceptualised and promoted by Wizcraft International
Entertainment, adds the release.
