Airtel launches all India anywhere bill payment facility

MUMBAI: AirTel recently announced a unique initiative in India to provide the “Anywhere” mobile bill payment facility to all its customers.

 

 

AirTel customers across circles will now have the convenience of paying their monthly mobile bills either by cash or credit card at select AirTel Connect shops even outside their home network.

An official release informs that the service will offer a greater level of convenience to all the roaming customers who would now be able to not only keep track of their bill outstandings but also make payments while roaming. The launch of the Anywhere Bill Payment service is the result of a direct feedback received by AirTel through a number of customer surveys done by the company over a period of time.

According to Bharti Tele-Ventures Ltd president Mobility Manoj Kohli, "AirTel is constantly on the look out for opportunities to provide an unmatched mobile experience to all its customers. The launch of India’s first, anywhere bill payment facility represents our latest initiative, designed to provide added convenience to all our customers, especially while roaming."

Besides the launch of the latest “Anywhere” bill payment facility, some of the other customer service differentiators recently announced by AirTel include: Anytime, Anywhere service for AirTel postpaid customers to customer care. This implies any customer who is roaming nationally can call or SMS at AirTel’s 121 customer-care number, common across India at any time convenient to him.

An AirTel customer can also log onto www.airtelworld.com and has the option to view his monthly bill and transactions online from anywhere in the country. The customer can also subscribe to the E-bill facility.
