MUMBAI: It's vacation time for children and all they do is stay glued to the television. Star Plus on its behalf cashed in on this opportunity and has come up with lots of fun and games for kids on shows like Sonpari, Shakalaka Boom Boom and Bachcha Party.

In Sonpari a surprise birthday party is being planned for Fruity, who thinks that nobody remembers her birthday which falls on 28 April. What kids need to do is make a birthday card wishing Fruity and post it to Fruity Birthday Greeting Contest, PO Box 37454, JB Nagar Post Office, Andheri-Kurla Rd, Marol, Andheri (E), Mumbai-400059. Once the cards come in, Fruity will select three best cards and the three winners will be invited to Fruity’s birthday party on the episode on 28 April.

Bachcha Party, which is yet another show specially brought for children during summer vacations will start on 16 April at 6:30 pm. The show will run for 10 weeks from Friday to Sunday. The show is about a lonely rich boy Rishi, whose life takes a wonderful turn when he finds the magic pencil. For kids there are over 100 prizes to be won every day on Bachcha Party.

In Shaka Laka Boom Boom which airs from Monday to Friday at 7:30 pm, kids will be treated to brand new episodes filled with fun, masti and of course a mega contest that can win them fabulous prizes. From 26 April, Shaka Laka Boom Boom - The School of Magic - special will start airing which promises to be a lot of fun.
