| The contest which coincided with the film's release
yesterday, offers all visitors an opportunity to participate by filling
a form and answering three questions by actually visiting the multiplex
lobby or their website www.famecinemas.com. A lucky draw held on 6
December will determine who wins the Manish Malhotra designer wear.
Up for grabs are the dresses Saif Ali Khan and Priety Zinta are wearing in
the now-popular song Mahi We, a black formal suit worn by Saif Ali
Khan and and orange saree that Preity's wearing in the film's climax.
Fame Adlabs marketing head Shrikant Hazare says, "This initiative
gives us the privilege to offer our guests an opportunity to win
the dresses worn by their star icons. We are proud that the producer
of the film has chosen Fame Adlabs as the only venue across India
for this activity. In the past, we have organised events where Kareena
Kapoor's costumes in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun and Biba Collections
of Baghban were displayed. The response from the audience
has been fabulous. This initiative is an extension of our endeavor
to provide our guests with more than just movies."
The practice of auctioning film costumes is nothing new to Bollywood.
Raj Kapoor had started it as early as Bobby. The Barjatyas had also
auctioned the dresses of Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and the more
recent Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon. Fame had also promoted films
like Baghban by displaying costumes at their multiplex. But
in KHNH's case, the costumes are to be given away absolutely
free of cost. Guests can also win loads of movie merchandise, music
CDs and cassettes by participating in the contests that the DJ will
host live at the lobby level over the weekends.
