BBC Worldwide signs licensing agreement in Korea for 'Fimbles'

LONDON: BBC Worldwide has signed an exclusive three-year licensing agreement with KTH, Korea's telecommunication giant. As per the deal, the two companies will develop an extensive range of high quality children's products for the broadcaster's show Fimbles.
 
 

The television show Fimbles was created for two to four year olds. An official release informs that the proposed range in Korea includes apparel and fashion items, children's stationery, computer accessories, as well as more traditional games and puzzles, toiletries, confectionery and novelty items.

The launch will be driven by an above and below-the-line advertising campaign, with television, print, Internet and sponsored events to support the product rollout. In addition, a high impact public relations and events programme will be implemented to build brand awareness and stimulate consumer demand.

The BBC also sells Fimbles to territories around the world including Spain, Korea, Australia, Norway, France, Hong Kong, Canada, South Africa, Ireland, Portugal, Singapore, New Zealand.
