Sensotec, the latest in the Philishave range of shavers, is designed to meet the needs of regular travellers and high-flying executives, says a press release. It adds that the Sensotec range is designed to deliver a personalised, close shave with unsurpassed skin comfort. The Sensotec range model from the Philishaves series is available at Rs 12,995.

The release says that Sensotec's totally unique Personal Comfort Control allows the shaver to be adjusted to the user's own skin type. The Sensotec shaver has nine settings. The three-dimensional contour following system enables the shaver to adapt to the shaving pressure ideal for the user -this ensures comfortable shave every time. This convenient waterproof system has been specially launched for easy and hygienic cleaning. The release adds that Philips is the worldwide market leader in Philishaves "Electric Shavers" with the patented rotary heads which make them unique.

Philips India Domestic Appliances and Personal Care Business Group head Rakesh Sharma was quoted as saying: " Philips is one of the few companies that has an inbuilt capacity to cater to both the mass and niche markets. Our capability to understand and focus on the 'basic' and 'personalised' needs of each consumer category is one of our key strengths. The 'Sensotec' range is a result of this approach. It introduces for the first time the elements of comfort and pleasure factor during shaving. We are sure that this product which caters to a select male audience, will be accepted very well."

The release adds that Philips has conducted extensive research in the areas of male shaving and grooming and the Philishave experts have recognised that no two skin types are the same and that every man needs a personal shaver setting to ensure that he gets the closest and most comfortable shave. This feature is unique to the Sensotec range from the Philishave series.

The ergonomically designed 'Sensotec' range has been specially equipped for travel and offers 100 minutes of cordless shaving from one hour of charging. The product has been equipped with features that can indicate battery charge levels, usage time availability, need for cleaning and change of blades.

The Philishave Sensotec also features patented Super Lift and Cut technology, allowing the first blade to easily lift the hair whilst the second blade cuts the hair. Sensotec is cased in a "special edition" silver canister with an attractive leather pouch.
