MAX to promote movies with 'Kapil Aapke Ghar'

MUMBAI: What can one expect from a channel that has labeled itself as Movie and Cricket channel? A promotional activity combining movie and India's pet passion Cricket of course. MAX along with its brand ambassador Kapil Dev in tow has launched a new contest Kapil Aapke Ghar.



After the success of Gully Cricket, says a company source, the channel decided to give the public another dose the former star captain of Indian Cricket Kapil Dev. The contest promo, which is been aired since last week on MAX, has Dev asking question about the programming band Maha Movies. The contest held in a bid to promote the movies is aired through out the day as an interstitial. To participate in the contest, the contestants are required to send in the correct answer either via, mail, e-mail or sms latest by 7 July 2003.

In the second week of July names of the lucky winner will be announced after a draw. Kapil will then be visiting the homes of the winners, city-by-city, starting from 12 July.

Kapil will be visiting the houses of the few lucky winners in Pune on 12 July, Hyderabad on 19 July, Kolkatta on 2 August, Bangalore on 9 August, Mumbai on 30 August, Nagpur on 13 September and Delhi on 27 September.
