Triumph Watches to showcase retro masculine appeal

MUMBAI: After successfully establishing fashion watch brand Giordano Timewear in India, Manoj Dhanwani and Megan Impex Pvt. Ltd are now set to 'triumph' again. This time around, Dhanwani, the suave managing director of Megan Impex is targeting those who live their lives on the fast track.

With the latest offering - Triumph Watch Collection - Megan Impex will strive to showcase a series that seeks to capture the imagination of motorbike riders and racing freaks.

Triumph will also appeal to those who love and admire any activity related to life on the fast track - be it F1, bike racing, flying or adventure sports such as para-gliding. In short, it would appeal to all those who live an action oriented life.

Manoj Dhanwani adds: "There is a captive market in India for Triumph watches because of an increased understanding and acceptance of cult brands like Triumph. Of course, this has to be combined with products of the highest quality, an extensive range to choose from and customer service, which is a given at Megan Impex. Also, the watches are attractively priced from Rs 4,950 to Rs 13,750. In Triumph watches, I am sure we have a winner."

Watch industry analyst Ashok Khemlani says: "Considering the upswing in the growth of motorbikes in India in recent years, there is a huge number of prospective consumers who could be lured to become the proud owners of a Triumph watch. Also, Indian consumers have rediscovered a passion for racing - evident in the tremendous interest in Formula One racing championships. Dhanwani will seek to capitalise on the Indian consumer's newfound passion."

A release says that the Triumph Watch Collection will be launched in major metros of India at various premium watch boutiques and lifestyle stores. The retail outlets consist of a mix of traditional outlets (retail points for watch trade) and non-traditional outlets (departmental stores, fashion boutiques).
