TEXAS: DG Systems has announced that Turner Broadcasting System
has adopted DG Systems' NetClear digital clearance online solution
to submit and manage advertising spots for its networks. As a result
TBS' clearance department will no longer rely solely upon video
tapes to review and approve new advertising spots.
NetClear claims to be the advertising industry's advanced Web-based
solution for submitting and managing spots for legal and television
network clearance. From pre-approval paperwork through final spot
approval, NetClear helps users submit storyboards, scripts, affidavits
and spots directly from their desktops to the desktops of network
compliance departments, ad agencies and law firms. Then NetClear
provides updates on clearance status and immediate email notification
when a clearance order has been reviewed. The result is a faster,
more efficient, reliable and cost effective approval process.
TBS networks include Cartoon Network, CNN, TNT, TCM. Senior VP
Sales and Marketing at DG Systems Mark Dunn said,"With Turner Broadcasting
on-board, many of the key broadcasting and cable networks are now
using or testing DG's NetClear workflow solution to manage their
clearance process and exchange spots digitally. NetClear is such
a vast improvement over traditional dub-and-ship methods and we
anticipate that most of the industry will eventually embrace this
efficient solution."
