NEW DELHI: Eternit Everest, a cement roofing sheet manufacturer,
has shifted its advertising account from SSC&B to EuroRSCG India.
The move was confirmed by Euro RSCG India director Sanjeev Roy.
“We were briefed on the account (by the client) and we made a presentation.
We won the account mainly on the basis of our creative work,” said
Roy.
Euro RSCG will be targeting rural and semi-urban markets for Eternit
Everest’s roofing products. The agency is currently working on a
strategy to address the problem of alternative measures used for
roofing products. According to Roy, it is tough to evaluate the
market share of Eternit Everest as there are lot of alternatives
to roofing products, in specific areas such as old bamboos.
“It's too early to say anything about the budget. The media account
will be handled by Media Planning Group,” said Roy.
Eternit Everest, is an ACC group company, manufactures fibre cement
roofing products and flat sheets. Its product portfolio includes
building materials such as E-Board Classic (fibre cement boards),
Eternia (coloured roofing system) and Promat passive fire protection
systems.
