NEW YORK: On2 Technologies has licensed its VP5 and AVC technology to Adservers Online for their new Internet advertising suite.

Adservers Online's product, Advertising Profit Technology, is a unique digital marketing platform that provides highly targeted, one-to-one, interactive television commercials for advertisers delivering their messages over the Internet. The technology effectively targets both the massive dial-up market as well as the growing broadband subscriber base.

An official release informs that VP5 and AVC will allow the Advertising Profit Technology product suite to download real Television commercials of DVD quality in a smaller file size and with greater speed than has previously been available. This enables AdServersOnline to deliver these commercials both in a licensed patented space on the Internet and with its proprietary Poptions, which are non-invasive and completely optional full video commercials that work for all users and are highly targeted.
