MUMBAI: MTV has announced the launch of MTV Inbox, India's first 'on-air' SMS based interactive music dedication show.

The show which will flash dedication messages live on screen alongwith the request song , is being hosted in collaboration with AirTel. Thus the catch is that only AirTel subscribers will be able to participate in the show.

The show requires the viewers to send messages in three steps

Step one: Go to the message function of the mobile and type in a number to a song from the playlist comprising four songs.

Step two: Type in the message

Step three: Type in the number of the person to whom the message has to be sent and SMS it to 500.
