CALIFORNIA (US): KidzMouse, a developer of niche-market computer peripherals for educational use, will soon debut several new KidzMouse computer mouse designs based on Nickelodeon or Nick Jr. cartoon series-beginning with SpongeBob SquarePants, Blues Clues(TM), and RugRats - for the holiday 2002 retail season, with other characters coming in 2003 in the US.

KidzMouse, The Kid-Friendly Computer Mouse has, since its debut in 2001, featured its own creative designs - MollyMouse, BenjiBee, CoolBug, MarinaBug, Colby-T-Rex, and a "Design Your Own" character. KidzMouse and its namesake products make computers accessible and enjoyable for young computer users. The mice are roughly half the size a conventional computer mouse, with a squeezable "head" that replaces normal mouse buttons. The product has won praise from educational and child-development organisations as an innovative way to increase comfort and accessibility for young PC learners.
