With
soccer fever rising in India as the FIFA World Cup draws nearer,
Ten Sports has launched the Dekh Football Dekh Contest.
The contest which kicks off today on the channel will provide
soccer crazy fans to win attractive prizes. Prizes
include an all expenses paid trip for two to Dubai, where
the winner gets a chance to meet Gary Stevens and Indian soccer
star Baichung Bhutia. Soccer demi-god and England star David
Beckham will also be promoting the contest, media reports
say.
Viewers also stand a chance to win 1,000 attractive prizes
to be won in the form of TVs, watches, footballs, caps and
T-shirts. If the viewer spots one of the lucky footballs during
the contests on screen, he could win a prize by emailing or
wiriting to the channel, including the details of which prize
he spotted and the time at which the contest aired.
The Dekh Football Dekh Contest closes on 6 June.
