Cartoon Network launches Power Zone Contest

MUMBAI: It's all about connecting to your audience. Towards that end, leading kids channel Cartoon Network has launched a promotion around its popular Power Zone franchise.

Prizes on offer include a day at an adventure camp where kids get to pack in some trekking, river crossing and rock climbing. With the idea clearly aimed at getting that all important stickiness in viewing, kids have to tune in to Power Zone and catch the password of the day. The password will be aired within the Cartoon Network password bug during Power Zone.

Kids need to write down all the five passwords aired throughout the week and send it to Cartoon Network or log on to www.cartoonnetworkindia.com. In addition to the 10 grand prizewinners of the adventure camp getaway, 100 other kids get to win branded T-shirts and GI Joe toys by participating in the weekly contests.

Only those kids who enter all the weekly contests will be eligible for the grand prize!

The Power Zone contest runs till 7 October and is sponsored by Pepsodent while Funskool is the prize-sponsor.

Launched in 2001, Power Zone is one of the hottest programming franchises on Cartoon Network, according to the channel. Power Zone airs from 4:00 to 5:00 pm weekdays and 11:00- noon on weekends.
