MUMBAI:
Carat Group UK has announced the acquisition of the Midlands
based sports marketing agency TSM and in doing so have created
a Sports Marketing Division branded Carat Sport UK.
Managed by Andrew Wilding and David Reilly, TSM has been working
very closely with Carat over the last 18 months to develop
a sports marketing service for Carat clients, says a company
release, during which they successfully negotiated The Times
partnership with the English Cricket Board worth £1.2m. The
JV will now be working exclusively for Carat Group clients
to create, negotiate and deliver sports marketing solutions.
According
to head of Carat Sponsorship, David Peters,"Communication
strategy is at the heart of our business and it was imperative
for us to extend our service to include sport, a fast growing
and important communication channel. In TSM we have found
the right partners to provide this service and they will add
significant value to our client offer"
Director Carat Sport Andrew Wilding says, "TSM’s success
