Concern
over the memory lapse of popular toon Dexter saw Cartoon Network
reportedly receive over 35,000 responses. The promotion, which
ended on Saturday, lasted 26 days.
As
mentioned earlier, the channel had invited entries from toon
buffs suggesting three ways in which boy genius Dexter could
regain his memory.
The
channel also held promotions in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai
to generate awareness about the campaign. The Mumbai event,
which took place at Bandra and Worli, saw Dexter and sister
Dee Dee interact with the kids.
The
sponsors included Laughing Cow cheese and Frooti mango juice.
The
channel has also announced that it will air ten new episodes
of Dexter’s Laboratory in Toon Tamasha. They will air
in Toon Tamasha on Saturdays at 9 am and Sundays at
5:30 pm
