Karishma Initiatives wins snapdeal.com media mandate

MUMBAI: The e-commerce website snapdeal.com has appointed Lintas India's Karishma Initiative (KI) as its new media agency on record, along with APPPL.
The agency was chosen following a multi-agency pitch.

The creative mandate portal that offers deals everyday on dining, recreation and entertainment sports among others is with the Delhi-based K-Factor.

 

K-Factor has also come up with a new television commercial recently to create more awareness and brand visibility for the portal.

Says snapdeal.com head – marketing Sandeep Kormavelley, “We have been successful in the online space and are already among the top 35 websites in India, with over a million opted-in subscribers. With the objective of reaching out to a wider audience and increasing the awareness of our services, we have launched the ATL campaign, hence we have got the agencies on-board.”

 
 

K-Factor, has also worked on the website’s other on-going ATL activities.

“snapdeal.com is predominantly focused on the youth platform and the TVC has broken mostly on lifestyle channels. We have started our campaign early January and have associated with youth platforms which have a good following. We will be live across 8-9 channels in February”, adds Kormavelley.
