MUMBAI: Cadbury Gems has launched a new television commercial for Gems Surprise, a new variant of the very popular Cadbury Gems.

Targeted at kids, the TVC highlights that the new Gems comes packed in a ball and with a Ben10 toy.

Created by Ogilvy & Mather¸ the commercial focuses on a colourful panda and a black- and-white panda, lazing around the forest. The colourful panda is shown eating while the other looks on. And then, all of a sudden, two Gem Surprise Balks fall near them, and break open to reveal the Ben10 toys.

The pandas make their toys wrestle and carry them around everywhere. After all the drama with the toys, the two pandas are finally seen eating the gems from the balls. And then the black-and-white panda turns colourful too.

Says Ogilvy & Mather creative director Vijay Sawant said, "The idea was to highlight the element of surprise and that's reflected brilliantly in the film. It's a riot of colour, playful interactions, fun and frolic."

Vishal Mangalorkar of Nirvana Films is the producer. The entire TVC has been shot in Bangkok. Also, just like the Zoozoos, the panda's too are not animated but real people enacting the characters.
