    Mumbai: Multi Screen Media?s family entertainment channel Sab TV is launching a new show titled ?Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai? on 13 August.

    The show will air Monday to Friday at 8 pm. It will be competing with the genre leader Balika Vadhu (Colors), Iss Pyar ko Kya Nam Du (Star Plus), Rab Se Sona Ishq (Zee TV) and Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka (Sony Entertainment Television).

    Produced by Optimystix, the channel attempts to show the marriage of romance with comedy.

    Sab TV EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, "It?s a perfectly packaged family entertainer with the ethos of SAB TV, of humour, family values and a lot of entertainment. Its got familiar faces and our story line is simple and effective. The concept of a rom-com is mostly limited to films; we have tried to bring it instead to your TV sets."

    Optimystix producer Vipul.D. Shah added, "We have always tried to do something new and fun. This show of ours aims to provide wholesome entertainment for the entire family. It?s a love story that only gets funnier with every episode. It has great production quality and some very fine actors and of course, a very charming story. I have a feeling the show will definitely strike a chord with its audience."

  • Sab forays into reality genre with 'Nanhe Superstars'

    MUMBAI: Sab, the second general entertainment channel (GEC) from Multi Screen Media (MSM), is now ready to experiment with reality genre as it is launching its first reality show ?Nanhe Superstars?.

    The show is expected to go on-air by month end or early August. The weekly talent hunt show for kids will be aired every Saturday.

    The channel said that Nanhe Superstars will provide a platform for the young and aspiring stars for showcasing their talent. The theme of the show is the war of the sexes- fights between the boys and girls team.

    Sab EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, "It is our constant endeavour to deliver wholesome and clean entertainment to our beloved and loyal audience. We are launching the first reality show on Sab to create enthralling and exciting Saturdays for our audience. Nanhe Superstar is our sincere attempt to showcase the young talents of our country and bring a distinctive element to our programming content. It will be a complete package of variety, comedy, dance and entertainment."

    Saloni Daini and Atharva Karve will anchor the show and lead their respective teams as well. Daini is a child comedy artist while Karve has been seen hosting shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Lil champs in the past.

    MUMBAI: Sab, the family comedy entertainment channel from Multi Screen Media, is launching a new primetime property, I love My India, on 20 February.

    The show be aired Monday-Friday at 8 pm.

    As the name suggests, the show is a patriotic comedy and is based on what happens when west meets east.

    The show is replacing Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story. It has been produced and directed by Tony and Deeya Singh from DJ`s creative Eye.

    Sab EVP and business head Anooj Kapoor said, ?There are so many things which make us Indian. This show aims to highlight the values, tradition and culture that make us Indian, albeit in a light hearted manner. We are sure that the show with its light hearted content and patriotic flavour will be enjoyed by the entire families across Hindi speaking markets.?

    The show revolves around Sethi Family, who have been residing in London for several years and decides to return to India. The star cast includes actors like Arun Bali, Himan Shivpuri, Imran Khan, Indresh Malik and Ayaz Ahmed.

    Tony Singh added, ?I believe if you look closely all of us have some relatives or friends living abroad, who have to adjust to situations in India when they are here. These circumstances entertain us and we cherish these memories forever. The show is an attempt to remind us of our cultural values in an amusing way.?
