    MUMBAI: The Premier League has awarded exclusive audio visual broadcast rights for Italy to Pitch International.

    The three-year deal covers all 380 Barclays Premier League matches per season in Italy. The Premier League is broadcast on Sky Sport in Italy.

    Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore said, "We are extremely pleased that Pitch International has chosen to invest in our broadcast rights in Italy. We are confident that they will distribute all the best Barclays Premier League action in a comprehensive and innovative manner to our fans in Italy."

    Pitch International MD Jonathan Rogers said, "We are delighted to be appointed as the Premier League?s licensee in such an important football territory as Italy. It is widely acknowledged how important Premier League rights are to broadcasters worldwide and for Pitch to open its account with the Premier League and add it to its growing roster of major clients is another step forward in the company?s growth."

    MUMBAI: Sports media rights company MP & Silva has bagged the live audio visual broadcast rights for Premier League in the Middle East and North Africa region till 2016 season.

    MP & Silva will be the exclusive distributor of the Barclays Premier League TV rights, mobile and digital media for the territories of Bahrain, Iraq, Iran, Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Algeria, Chad, Libya, Morocco, Somalia, Tunisia, Egypt and Djibouti.

    MUMBAI: The Premier League has said that Telenet has been awarded exclusive audio visual broadcast rights for all 380 Barclays Premier League matches per season for seasons 2013-16 in Belgium.

    "We are extremely pleased Telenet has chosen to invest in our broadcast rights for Seasons 2013/14-2015/16," said Premier League Chief Executive Richard Scudamore.

    "They are a long-term partner of the Premier League and we know they will continue to broadcast the competition to our fans in Belgium in an exciting and innovative manner."

    Telenet senior VP public affairs & media management Ann Caluwaerts said, "Our customers tell us that they enjoy the English Premier League very much particularly because they can now follow the Belgian players more closely. That is one of the reasons why Telenet made a great effort to retain the broadcasting rights to the Premier League.
