• Disney India's first ever made for television film to premier 30 Sep

    MUMBAI: Disney Channel India‘s first locally produced made for television movie Luck Luck Ki Baat is all set to premier 30 September at 10 am on the channel. The movie is directed by Iqbal and produced by SOL Productions.

    The movie centres around a 16-year old Amit who is a class hero and an incredibly lucky student who attributes all his luck to his special gold coin. In a bid to find out about his heritage, he visits a local fair styled around Arabian Nights where the mystery deepens as he encounters a series of mystical and sinister characters; amidst colourful stalls, Arabian dancers and magical tricks. By the next day his luck starts to wear thin as he enters the unknown yet familiar world of magic, genies and more.

    Starring popular and well-known actors, Luck Luck Ki Baat will see the upcoming youth-icon Satyajit Dubey as Amit Kumar, leading television star - Mahesh Thakur reprising the role of Amit‘s father - Kishore Kumar, successful theater and television artist Vandana Sajnani as Amit‘s Mother - Leena Kumar and making a comeback on the small screen again - Lilliput in the role of Amit‘s grandfather - Abul Jan.

    Essaying pivotal roles in the movie will also be Damandeep Singh as the evil Ifrit Bula Bin Abdulla, Kishan Savjan as Amit‘s best friend Manpreet, and Ayesha as the teacher‘s pet Kainaaz and Maninee De as the strict school teacher Mrs. Mukherjee.

    Disney Channel also airs originally produced family shows like Best of Luck Nikki and Suite Life of Karan and Kabir.
