• 'Good Luck Charlie', 'iCarly', 'Victorious' competing at Nickelodeon's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards

    MUMBAI: US kids broadcaster Nickelodeon has announced the nominees for the 26th edition of its Annual Kids? Choice Awards that take place next month.

    Nominees cover several aspects of media including film, television, videogames and sports. The event will be seen in more than 350 million households around the world and in more than 25 languages.

    The nominees for TV show are ?Good Luck Charlie?, ?iCarly?, ?Victorious? and ?Wizards of Waverly Place?. The nominees for reality Show are ?America?s Got Talent?, ?American Idol?, ?The Voice? and ?Wipeout. Competing for favourite cartoon are ?The Fairly OddParents?, ?Phineas and Ferb?, ?SpongeBob SquarePants? and ?Tom and Jerry?.
     
    On the film side the Favorite Movie nominees are ?The Amazing Spider-Man?, ?The Avengers?, ?Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days? and ?The Hunger Games?. On the music front competing for Favorite Music Group are Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi, Maroon 5 and One Direction

    Stars who have been nominated include Adele, Justin Bieber, Bon Jovi, Johnny Depp , Robert Downey Jr., Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, Michael Phelps and Julia Roberts. Josh Duhamel , will be hosting the slime-fest, telecast live from USC?s Galen Center.

    From 14 February 2013 kids will be able to cast their votes in 22 categories, including the newly introduced nominations for Favorite App and Favorite Villain, across all of Nickelodeon?s digital outlets: Nick.com, all desktop and mobile devices, and Nickelodeon?s Facebook page and Twitter feed.

    On Facebook, users will be able to vote from a tab on the page and the entire voting experience can be embedded directly into wall posts, and on Twitter users be able to vote using custom KCA hashtags.
