MUMBAI: In order to celebrate the birthday of Javed Akhtar, B4U Music has created two special slots of his most popular songs in its programme Bajao.

Javed Akhtar father of famous actor producer Farhan Akthar is one of the best lyricist poet and script writer of Bollywood . Some of his most successful work was done in the late 1970s and 1980s with Salim Khan as half of the script-writing duo credited as Salim-Javed.

Akhtar was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1999 and received the Padma Bhushan in 2007. He has also won the Filmfare Award fourteen times, seven times for best script and another seven times for best lyrics.

Among the notable songs of Akhtar are those from 1942 A love story , Jodhaa Akbar and Lagaan.

The programme of Javed?s popular songs would be telecast between 2.30pm to 3.30pm and 4pm to 5pm today.
