Shiamak Davar to umpire Sony's 'Dance Premier League'

MUMBAI: Shiamak Davar is ready to step on to the small screen once again with Sony Entertainment Television‘s (Set) dance reality show, Dance Premier League (DPL).

Davar has been roped in as the DPL ‘umpire‘ and will be responsible for guiding the six teams on the show namely North, East, West, South, Central and NRI.

As part of his madate, not only will Davar get involed in the selection process for the reality show but will also have the final veto.

Says Davar, "I have always looked out for and nurtured talent. DPL is a sure way to extract the best from this happy to be a part of it."

DPL draws inspiration from the Indian Premier League (IPL) format with zonal teams competing against each other. Each team holds a unique logo, brand ambassador, cheer leaders and merchandise, just like IPL and is scheduled to launch on 9 October.
