UTV Bindass is set to launch Sid Vs Varun, an adoption of the international
format show Kenny vs Spenny, on 5 October. The
show will telecast every Monday at 7 pm.
UTV Bindass channel head Heather Gupta says, "International concepts are
gaining ground everywhere and keeping this in mind we wanted to introduce the
Indian audiences to Kenny Vs Spenny. With our understanding of cultural
differences we have tailor made Sid vs Varun to appeal to Indian tastes
and thus, have created this show."
Directed
by Shashank Gosh (of Quick Gun Murugan fame), Sid Vs Varun pits
two best friends against each other and gets them to do maniacal and mad dares
in every episode, with the loser facing a penalty set by the winner. |
