Katherine Kendrick quits DreamWorks Animation

MUMBAI: Katherine Kendrick will quit as general counsel of DreamWorks Animation (DWA) once her contract expires this year end.

Kendrick, an employee of DreamWorks since its inception, will devote her time to her philanthropic efforts for organizations like the U.S. Olympic Foundation, Waterkeeper's Alliance, LA's BEST (Better Educated Students for Tomorrow), the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, Kids Play International and Columbia University School of Law's Kernochan Center for Law, Media and the Arts.

Said DWA CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, "Kathy has been a key member of our executive team helping to steer the company from the founding of DreamWorks through our IPO and beyond.

Before DreamWorks, Kendrick was based in Paris as VP European legal affairs at Disney.
