In its 21st year as the exclusive international distributor of the Grammy Awards,
Alfred Haber Distribution (AHDI) has signed on a number of international broadcasters
for the upcoming 52nd annual Grammy Awards.
The event honours excellence
in the recording arts and sciences, as voted on by members of The Recording Academy.
"Music
is the true universal language, and the Grammy Awards speak it in a way that people
truly understand," commented AHDI founder Alfred Haber.
"We
are delighted to once again be offering music's biggest night to viewers and music
lovers around the world."
In the US, CBS will air the Grammy Awards live
on 31 January next at 8 pm. ITV
in the UK, Canwest Global in Canada, ProSieben in Germany, WOWOW in Japan, Televisa
in Mexico, STAR in Southeast Asia, Turner in Latin America and M-Net of South
Africa will also broadcast the event. |
