| MUMBAI:
Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has promoted Russell Kline to senior VP channel
operations for Latin America. Prior
to this, Kline was executive VP finance and operations.
Continuing to
be based in Miami, Kline will be reporting to senior VP and general manager Klaudia
Bermudez-Key. He will work directly with Bermudez-Key in the management of SPT's
networks throughout Latin America.
Kline
will also oversee affiliate revenues and manage business development as SPT looks
to grow the company's existing channels throughout the region. He has been with
SPT since 1998, when he joined as manager of financial reporting. He has also
served as director of finance and executive director of finance. Said
Bermudez-Key, "His experience in the administration and financial management
of the channels, plus serving on the HBO Latin America board on our behalf, makes
him a valuable business partner as we try to achieve our overall strategy for
our growing networks portfolio.
Prior
to joining SPT, Kline worked in corporate audit at Sony Corporation. |
