Clandestine Service, distributor of feature films and TV programming, has named
Robert Aaronson as executive VP acquisitions while Roy Bodner will join as COO.
In
his new capacity, Aaronson has been assigned to source and acquire feature films
for distribution in the international market. He will also represent the company
at festivals and markets worldwide.
Bodner,
meanwhile, will handle day-to-day responsibilities at Clandestine, as well as
take on the COO's role at Clandestine's parent company, Broadside Capital, the
investment banking, advisory and private equity firm that also operates Fierce
Entertainment, ShowBizData.com and Fierce Models.
Prior to this, Bodner
was senior VP - marketing and communications at Peace Arch Entertainment. Aaronson,
on the other hand, is currently acquisitions consultant for Universal Pictures
International Entertainment. Christopher
Petzel is the CEO of Clandestine Service, Broadside Capital and its portfolio
companies, while the distribution team is led by Suzanne Barron as executive VP.
Its international rights library includes Nearing Grace (Gregory Smith,
Jordana Brewster, Ashley Johnson), Bright Young Things (Peter O'Toole,
Emily Mortimer, James McAvoy) and Love's Brother (Giovanni Ribisi, Adam
Garcia, Amelia Warner). |
