'CSI', 'House', 'Grey's Anatomy' nominated for People's Choice Awards

MUMBAI: The nominations for the People's Choice Awards 2010 have been announced.

The show will air on 6 January 2010 on US broadcaster CBS.

The nominees for Favourite TV Drama are
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Grey's Anatomy, House, Lost and NCIS. the nominees for
Favourite TV Comedy are Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, The Office and Two and a Half Men.

The nominees for drama actor are Hugh Laurie, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Matthew Fox and Patrick Dempsey. For drama actress the nominees are Anna Paquin, Blake Lively, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katherine Heigl and Mariska Hargitay

The comedy actor nomnees are Alec Baldwin,
Charlie Sheen, Jim Parsons, Neil Patrick Harris and Steve Carell. Their female counterparts nominated are
Alyson Hannigan, America Ferrera, Amy Poehler, Eva Longoria Parker and
Tina Fey

The favourite talk show nominees are Chelsea Lately, Live with Regis and Kelly, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Tyra Banks Show. The Favourite Competition Show are American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Project Runway, So You Think You Can Dance and Survivor: Samoa.

Competing for favourite animal show are
Animal Cops, Dog Town, Dog Whisperer, It's Me or the Dog and Rescue Ink Unleashed. The new
TV drama nominees are Eastwick, FlashForward, Melrose Place, Mercy, The Forgotten, The Good Wife, The Vampire Diaries
Three Rivers, NCIS: Los Angeles and V.

The new TV Comedies nominated are Accidentally on Purpose, Brothers, Community, Cougar Town, Glee, Hank, The Cleveland Show, The Middle and Modern Family.

Movie actors nominated are Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Reynolds. Actresses nominated are Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock.

Films competing for favourite film are Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Star Trek, The Hangover, The Proposal and Twilight. Comedies nominated are 17 Again, Bride Wars, He's Just Not That Into You, The Hangover and The Proposal. Competing for independent film are (500) Days of Summer District 9, Inglourious Basterds, Paranormal Activity and Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail.

The family movies nominated are Hannah Montana: The Movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Up and Where the Wild Things Are.
