MUMBAI: Wire and Wireless India Ltd (WWIL) has got RK Agarwal as its new chief
financial officer (CFO), moving in from sister company Zee News Ltd (ZNL).
Agarwal
had a successful 14-year stint in ZNL, a company that houses news and regional
entertainment channels. ZNL has crossed the landmark of Rs 5 billion turnover
in FY'09.
Agarwal joins WWIL
at a time when the multi-system operator (MSO) is readying to launch Headend-In-The-Sky
(HITS). WWIL is awaiting Sebi clearance to raise Rs 4.5 billion through a rights
issue.
