MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM Mumbai has introduced Marathi content with the launch of Devraag, a two-hour devotional music show that plays classical as well as modern devotional tracks.

"The show features a mix of Hindi and Marathi songs," says Radio Mirchi AVP programming Indira Rangarajan.

Hosted by RJ Prackriti, the show broadcasts daily at 5 am.

"In Mumbai, we have seen a lot of youngsters spiritually inclined, be it going to Siddhi Vinayak Temple or doing art of living course. We launched this show keeping this trend in mind," adds Rangarajan.

Devraag replaces Radio Mirchi's back-to-back music slot in the morning hours.

Besides devotional songs, the show also includes elements like spirituality, thought for the day, talks on and good deeds. Eventually, listeners will also be updated with a daily dose of astrological forecasts.
