MUMBAI: Hyderabad-based 7Seas Technologies, an IP-based game developing company, announced its debut in the country's game retail market with the launch of six casual computer game CD packs. It already has its presence in the mobile and online segment.

Targeted at kids and the youth, the games cover genres including action, sports, kids, fun, puzzle and cricket. Each CD pack will contain 20 games and is priced at Rs 99. A special combo pack comprising all the six packs is priced at Rs 399.

"As India is a price sensitive market, we have priced these packs competitively. This will also help thwart piracy," says 7Seas Technologies MD L Maruti Sanker.

The gaming company has zeroed in on 'Comprint', a game publishing and distribution company to distribute these game CD packs across India.

The games are now available at more than 600 large format retail stores including Landmark, Big Bazaar, Music World, Odyssey and Planet M.
