CNBC China appoints Jane Wang as ad sales VP

MUMBAI: CNBC has announced the appointment of Jane Wang as the vice president of advertising sales to its Asia Pacific (APAC) team in China.

Based in Shanghai, Wang will report to CNBC APAC SVP advertising sales Toby Hayward.

In her role, Wang will oversee CNBC's advertising sales and marketing operation for China. She will also work with the Shanghai Media Group on marketing CNBC related programs on China Business News as well as promoting CNBC Global to China based clients.

"We are delighted to have Jane on board as part of our team. We look forward to the continuous growth of the network's sales revenue within the region and globally," said Hayward.

Earlier to this, Wang held the position of VP of sponsorship and advertising sales and GM for Viacom Asia Inc in Shanghai. Prior to Viacom Asia, Wang was the MD of English First in Beijing.
