Former Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd CEO Pradeep Guha has joined the board
of advisors of Vdopia, an online video monetisation player and also a premium
video advertising platform. Guha,
who brings with him more than three decades of media experience, is also on the
advisory role of INX investors for formulating a plan to turn around Hindi general
entertainment channel 9X and music channel 9XM. "Guha's
experience in media across various companies and segments will provide our company
the depth while his direction will help us achieve greater success and faster
growth. His insights will add tremendous value to our organisation," said
Vdopia India Global CBO & MD Saurabh Bhatia. "I
like the business model of the Vdopia team and am looking forward to work with
them very closely. They already have tie ups with media companies and advertisers.
I look forward to further strengthen these ties and I want to take the company
to the next level.," quipped Guha.
Last
month, Guha joined the advisory board of Komli Media, a digital
advertising and technology company. Currently a venture advisor
at Nexus India Capital, Guha is also the official representative
to the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations and is
the current vice- chairman of the Federation.
