MUMBAI: The International Indian Film Academy (Iifa) has appointed BuzzinTown.com as its official partner for the three-day event.

The award ceremony is scheduled to be held from 11-13 June at The Venetian Macao-Resort Hotel in Macau.

The Videocon Iifa Weekend 2009 is a celebration of Indian cinema consisting a weekend of exhibitions, film showcases, workshops, global business forums, fashion extravaganzas and the highlight of the Iifa Weekend.

Buzzintown.com MD Amitabh Saran says, "An association with IIFA will take our fans to a tizzy, and get them more involved in the event. We will be getting them updated content on the activities abroad."

Iifa awards claims to attract a television audience of over 600 million people worldwide.
