MUMBAI: Expanding its distribution in the US, News Corporation-owned Asian broadcaster Star has rolled out its Hindi entertainment channels Star Plus, Star Gold and Star One on CableAmerica, Cincinnati Bell and OpenBand's television platforms.

While all the three channels will be accessible on an a la carte basis on CableAmerica for $10.95 per month, they will be available as a three-channel package on Cincinnati Bell and OpenBand for $15.99 per month and $22 per month respectively.

Said Star SVP - distribution & sales and Star head - North American and European offices David Wisnia, "We are truly excited to see that Star's South Asian channels continue to build momentum throughout the U.S. The fact that platforms across the country continue to launch Star's bouquet of channels is a testament to the connection our channels have built with US audiences."

Star currently distributes five channels in the US including Star Plus, Star One, Star Gold, Star News and Star Vijay.
