MUMBAI: Malaysia-based Measat Broadcast Network Systems Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned
unit of Astro All Asia Networks plc, has signed up B4U to offer the channel in
its pay TV pack.
B4U will be a hybrid
of Bollywood movies, music and Bollywood lifestyle entertainment shows. It's the
first time B4U Television Network has experimented with the fusion of its two
channels, B4U Movies and B4U Music.
Measat has launched
Astro Mustika Pack that comprises three new channels - Astro Citra, Astro Warna
and B4U. The entire pack will be available for RM 12.95 (Rs 173.70) per month.
Said
Measat chief executive officer Rohana Rozhan, "TV viewership was still experiencing
good growth and the company would be spending about 10 per cent more on content
this year. The new channels should help boost Astro's viewership."
