Dish Network to add 80 channels to its package

MUMBAI: Dish Network has formed a partnership with Racetrack Television Network (RTN) and HorseRacing TV (HRTV) to create a subscription package.

Dish Network subscribers will be able to watch live races daily for the price of $49.99 per month. Depending upon the time of year and the number of racetracks, the package will include as many as 700 live races daily.

"We are pleased to be able to offer Dish Network subscribers the most complete package of racing content available in the marketplace," said Dish Network EVP Michael Kelly.

The subscription package that offers 80 channels will be provided to the Dish Network subscribers under the name Racetrack Television Network.

Meanwhile, consumers subscribing to 80 channel will also be enable to get 'Best Of RTN', that consists of 12 channels at a cost of $29.99 per month.

Racetrack Television Network president Todd Roberts says, "The arrangement with Dish Network allows us to improve and expand the existing distribution of the RTN package of racing content. It will now be easier than ever for racing fans across the country to access the full-card simulcast feeds available on RTN."
