DELHI: Alva Brothers-owned production house Miditech Pvt Ltd has appointed Manisha
Tripathi as president of the company. Tripathi
will be responsible for production, programming and business operations of Miditech's
projects and ventures. Prior
to the appointment, Tripathi was station director of Big FM, Delhi and Goa. Says
Miditech chairman Niret Alva, "Tripathi has significant experience in scaling
media businesses with skills and expertise across functions. We believe her leadership
will enable Miditech's business and creativity grow further. With Manisha's joining,
Miditech's internal talent pool gets strengthened further". Tripathi
comes with about 15 years of experience in planning, developing and managing business
and strategy across media, entertainment and business organisations. She has worked
with various media and entertainment companies. She was part of a core team which
launched Tata Sky. She was also involved in designing the programme mix, strategising,
developing and promoting programmes for Star Plus. Earlier, she has also worked
with Sahara and MTV. Also
