| MUMBAI:
Off the Fence (OTF) Productions has announced an exclusive in-depth look into
the hidden world of Alaskas salmon sharks in Alaskan Killer Shark.
This one-hour special
made for National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) will premiere globally
later this month.
The documentary was recently aired on National Geographic Channel in the US. The
co-production with Dangerous Passage Productions follows the recent awards success
of OTF at the Roscar Film Awards, where they won the best african film
prize for NGCIs Secret Shark Pits. Alaskan
Killer Shark uses camera technology to create visuals and capture the behaviour,
environment and science of the sub-Arctic Salmon Shark. The
documentary follows in the footsteps of other OTF productions for National Geographic
Channels International including Monkey Thieves and the one-hour special
Sharkville. OTF has also recently produced Icebreakers, a one-hour
programme that explores the behemoth ships employed to keep vital trade routes
open in the harshest Arctic conditions and follows the construction of the first
icebreaking arctic containership - The Aker CS 650.
