Big Animation Studio partners Frameboxx to offer animation course

MUMBAI: Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani group (ADAG)-owned Big Animation Studio and Frameboxx, an animation and visual effects training institute, have formed a partnership to offer a specialised animation course. The course will be offered at Big Animation studio in Pune.

Students studying at Frameboxx centers across India will be able to opt and pursue their specialisation at Big Animation's finishing school-BIG AIMS. The initiative also provides the students with internship programme. Besides this, the arrangement also helps students to complete basic courses in their own cities across India at Frameboxx centers and come to Big AIMS to pursue specialisation.

 

"At Big Animation, we are excited to take positive steps towards nurturing great animation talent with our new industry-academia interface with Frameboxx. The studio had recently announced the launch of their academic initiative in Big Animation Infotainment & Media School (AIMS) to provide courses from ideation to script to screen," says Big Animation Studio CEO Ashish Kulkarni.

 
 

"Our association with Big Animation is a step in elevating initiative by exposing students to a animation production facility and production experts. We are glad at this initiative and see a great future ahead. It will be an opportunity for our students who wish to carve a niche in this industry," elucidates Frameboxx CEO and executive director Naveen Gupta.

Big Animation Studio's Little Krishna, an animated TV series which is due to air on Nickelodeon shortly, has won several awards at premier international events and festivals.
