MUMBAI:
At a time when every corporate entity is fighting hard to
face the economic fire, Internet giant search Google has paid
approximately $6 million to five of its top executives for
2008.
The
five executives who received the bonus are Robert A Eustace
($1.37 million), Omid Kordestani ($1.37 million), Patrick
Pichette ($1.24 million), George Reyes ($675,000) and Jonathan
Rosenberg ($1.63 million).
In
a filing to the Securities Exchange Commission, the company
stated that the bonus payments were in recognition of the
executives' contributions to performance in 2008.
